Don Bentley

DON BENTLEY is the New York Times bestselling American author known for his gripping military and espionage thrillers. He is a former U.S. Army Apache helicopter pilot who was stationed in South Korea, Germany, and Texas. While deployed to Afghanistan as a Troop Commander in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VI, Bentley was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Air Medal with “V” device for valor. Following his time in the military Bentley worked as an FBI Special Agent and was a member of the Dallas Office Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team.

Bentley brings firsthand experience to his writing, delivering authentic, action-packed narratives.

He is the author of the Matt Drake series, which follows a former DIA operative navigating high-stakes missions across the globe. Bentley has also contributed to Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Jr. series, continuing the legacy of the legendary techno-thriller Ryanverse.
