Mike Maden

MIKE MADEN began the critically acclaimed Troy Pearce series with Drone. He took over the Jack Ryan Jr. series in 2017, writing four novels, and relinquished the reigns after Firing Point in 2020. Maden is now writing for the Clive Cussler Oregon Files series, for which he’s written four novels, the latest being Quantum Tempest.

Maden holds both a master’s and Ph.D. in political science from the University of California at Davis, specializing in international relations and comparative politics. He has lectured and consulted on the topics of war and the Middle East, among others. Maden has served as a political consultant and campaign manager in state and national elections, and hosted his own local weekly radio show for a year.

Mike Maden lives in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.
