Watching Stewart address audience questions at The Poisoned Pen, it was incredibly rewarding to hear him express that exact creative philosophy.
Stewart openly stated that as a fan first, he wants strong connectivity between the Senior and Junior storylines. He emphasized that readers should be able to read a Jack Ryan Sr. novel and a Jack Jr. novel back-to-back and feel a single, cohesive universe moving forward, rather than two parallel tracks that never touch.
