Yet to be officially announced, it looks like the second Jack Ryan Jr. book from Jack Stewart will be called Tom Clancy Zero Point. This is based on sightings on Amazon.co.uk and exlibris.ch. Neither have a final cover and the Amazon listing shows a cover with a different title, Exit Strategy. That title may have initially been considered but then revised due to the somewhat recent Jack Reacher book of the same name.

Product details
- Publisher : Sphere
- Publication date : 4 May 2027
- Language : English
- Print length : 400 pages
Sphere is the UK imprint that publishes the Ryanverse books and I’ve noticed UK listings usually go up earlier than in the US. Sphere must distribute metadata to online retailers ahead of PRH in the US.
However, at this stage, we have little to go on other than the title, a publication date of May 4, 2027. And a print length of 400 pages. The latter is the standard length initially listed, so expect that to change in due course. The publication date fits the usual pattern of Ryanverse releases, but it’s quite possible it may yet shift by a week or two.
What we all want to know however, is what the book will be about.
Personally, I hope Jack Stewart is pushing the techno-thriller angle here and Zero Point relates to some sort of new tech advancement. In physics, zero-point energy represents the lowest possible energy state of a system, which could translate to a plot focused on experimental power sources (think nuclear fusion), quantum computing breakthroughs, or next-generation weapons.
I’m going to place my bet on an AI advancement that enables success in nuclear fusion. How that translates to what Jack Jr. and the Campus will be doing on the ground is anyone’s guess at this point. Either way, I’m looking forward to finding out more about this new title.
If you are looking for a Jack Stewart title before this one is out, then he’s has recently published Riptide. I highly recommend it. Check out my review: Riptide: a compelling follow-up to Silent Horizons.
