November is dominated by a double release from Andrews & Wilson but without a doubt, you are not going to want to miss what Mike Maden has in store for us with organoid computing!
Andrews & Wilson have the first title dropping this month, the latest installment in the Tier One series, The Adversary. There is a lot to like about this one but I can’t deny I’m most looking forward to their next, and final, Ryanverse title, Executive Power. I currently have an advance copy sat on my desk just waiting for me to finish my current read. I’m keen to see how Andrews & Wilson will wrap up their three book run in the series after a solid two so far. The introduction of Katie and Kyle Ryan into the core of the series has been great and I’m keen to get to know Kyle more in this book.
Mike Maden is releasing his fourth title in the long running Oregon Files series, Quantum Tempest. It’s the usual enjoyable crew of the Oregon getting up to all sorts in Central America – averting presidential assassinations, navigating the Darian Gap, and dealing with the terrors of AGI created by a drug cartel by way of organoid computing. The latter is more real than you might think! I’m currently halfway through this one and really enjoying it. Maden never fails to deliver when it comes to looking at bleeding edge threat vectors.
